Divorce-Information Drop-In Clinic Free (Every Wednesday, 11:30-1 pm) This is NOT a class, just drop in at anytime during the hour Have questions about divorce? Mediation? Do-it-yourself Divorce? Divorce paperwork? Domestic partnerships? Get the answers you need! No appointment needed. Avoid costly divorce mistakes by starting here. (This is not a class but an hour to walk in at any time and get information.) First come, first served. Each person gets 10-15 minutes to talk privately with a mediator. The time goes fast so come prepared. FLIER Divorce Support Group--(Coming Soon) This is a San Diego (Carmel Valley) support group for men and women who are considering divorce or currently in the early stages of the process of divorcing. When a Straight Spouse Comes "Out of the Closet" Divorce Support Group Are you looking for a confidential divorce support group with members who understand the pain and grief of being in a straight marriage when you are gay? If so, this is the group for you! When a gay spouse “comes out” to his or her straight spouse, the couple is likely to go through a chain of emotional stages that often encompass humiliation, fear, desperation, and other extreme feelings. It is estimated that there are up to 2 million mixed sexual orientation couples. When the gay, lesbian, or bisexual spouse comes out, a third of the marriages break up immediately. Gaining Financial Control of your Divorce Workshop The decisions you make during your divorce will affect the rest of your life. But how do you know whether your divorce settlement will lead toward financial freedom or financial ruin down the road? In these tough economic times, it’s crucial that you get the right information so that you can make sound financial – not emotional – decisions.
