San Diego Divorce Support Group
This is a San Diego (Carmel Valley) divorce support group for men and women.
You may be wondering…Is there Life After Divorce? Divorce is a heart-breaking situation for everyone touched by it. You may be experiencing a myriad of emotions: shock, anger, despair, guilt, shame, profound sadness, sense of failure, relief, hurt, overwhelmed, fear, indecision. There are so many issues and decisions to tackle, cope with, and heal, in order to rebuild your life. If you have children, this process can be even more challenging. All too often, I meet people who are still reeling from the effects of divorce several years afterwards and are unable to establish or maintain healthy love relationships. This group is designed to identify the “stuck places,” encourage you to take positive steps forward, and renew your hope for the future, in a safe, confidential, and supportive setting.
Some of the group topics include:
- “Considering the Road of Divorce: Past, Present and Future.” We’d look at grieving the past, taking care of yourself in the present and hope for the future
- “Two Houses: How to Support Children Through the Transition of Divorce”
- “Homemade Heroes: Courage for Living Through the Transition of Divorce”
Divorce support groups are being conducted once a month by an MFT.
Registration is required. Please contact our office: 858-863-3380 to reserve a spot.
